Thank you. I couldn't decide if people were trolling or not at first. A five year old, who has been taught the right things and knows what to do in an emergency is, in my opinion, fine to be alone for short periods of time. I'm glad my mom let me be independent at a young age, I see a lot of my friends go into their adult life still extremely dependent on their parents. It scares me a little bit.
